September 17

Hello everyone. We have had a great start to our school year. The students are learning the class routines and understanding the expectations required in our classroom. I am looking forward to meeting with you next week at our Parent Connection Night.

Some of the things the class has been busy working on include
  1. ELA - Students have read different stories from the Collections program. Students have written a poem about "The Me" they are.
  2. Math - We are working on Unit 7 - Data Analysis. Students have learned how to draw pictographs and bar graphs. A homework sheet has been sent home. Students only have to make one bar graph.
  3. Health - Our classroom beliefs have been put together and we discussed what our "jobs" are in the classroom.
  4. Science - Mr. Siemens has been busy teaching the class all about rocks. Be sure to ask your child some of the things he or she has learned.
  5. Phys-ed - The class has been learning flag football skills.
Coming Events:
September 19: Math Homework Due
September 21: Picture Day
